Easily the most anticipated film release of January is M. Night Shyamalan's GLASS, starring Samuel L. Jackson, Bruce Willis, and James McAvoy in their leading roles. Garnering excitement thanks to a fantastic reveal at the end of 2016's critically acclaimed SPLIT, the film has been marketed and perceived as a genuine blockbuster to contend with. But what will decide the financial prospects is undoubtedly its critical reception from the press.
Screening invitations have already been sent out to members of the press as well as details regarding the film's review embargo. According to the screening invitation, the embargo is dated to be removed on January 16th at 12:00pm EST or 9:00am PST. However, do note, that this embargo may not be the same for all regions as HBB Reviews only has information from the Atlanta screening invitation. This embargo is quite similar to other films. It doesn't show any strong confidence, but doesn't show any compromise either. In fact, it's a move on Universal's part that is similar to how a smaller movie would be marketed as the embargo is dated to release a mere two days before the film hits theaters. But with Shyamalan's excellent track record and resurgence in recent memory, it still leaves many viewers and fans confident for January 18th.
HBB Reviews will be present at that time to debut our review as our screening is currently dated for the day before. Please be sure to check back for our thoughts on M. Night Shyamalan's eagerly anticipated GLASS!
