Releasing on December 3rd was Neverwinter Nights: Enhanced Edition for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch, a light, makeshift port of the original classic Dungeons and Dragons PC RPG. Indeed, the port marks a nostalgic turn for fans of the RPG as they are able to experience the same, heart-warming visuals right from their sofa. Skybound Games and Beamdog have crafted a remaster that’s incredibly concerned in its faithfulness, making sure that nearly every facet of the game is intact and optimized for new generations.

While it will certainly turn some newer players off due to its rather muddy presentation, returning fans will find delight with the co-op and online multiplayer modes, all of which allow friends and accomplices to join into the fun. Collecting the base game as well as every installment of its DLC, ten astounding adventures are stuffed within this one package retailing for $49.99 via Skybound. It is the first time this “Enhanced Edition” will be made available for consoles, let alone the 2019 trifecta of consoles: PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch.

Neverwinter Nights Enhanced Edition, the 2002 Computer RPG of the Year, and all its DLC deliver 10 stand-alone D&D-based adventures featuring co-op and online multiplayer fun. Slink through the shadows as a deadly half-elven rogue, wield fearsome magics as a powerful gnomish sorcerer, vanquish your foes as an armor-clad dwarven paladin… whatever hero you create, incredible adventures await. Discover magic, wonder, and danger at every turn on your own or with friends in these classic Dungeons & Dragons adventures.
